The SARS-CoV-2 Nucleocapsid Phospoprotein is a recombinant protein containing 419 amino acids encoded by the N gene sequence, with a C-terminal 6xHis tag.

 

The protein is manufactured in E. coli with greater than 98% purity.

 

The SARS-CoV-2 Nucleocapsid Phosphoprotein is a structural protein that forms a protective shell surrounding the viral RNA.  

 

It is highly conserved between SARS-CoV-2 isolates, is highly immunogenic, and is expressed at high levels during infection.

 

It is therefore a highly suitable candidate for raising neutralizing antibodies and developing diagnostic applications.
